Day 6 Insanity Plyometrics -- Sneak Peek of Our Warmup

Marie is in town!  She is my success partner and we push each other everyday.  We keep each other in check with our goals, our personal development, and our positive energy.  She may live a few states away but we still workout together through Skype and Google's Hangout.  No excuses!

Today is special though because we're working out together in person!!  Here is a video that will give you a gist of our current workout program, INSANITY.  It is ridiculous but it is doable so long as you don't give up.  I push her just as hard as she pushes me and considering this is the 2nd time either of us do this program we simply cannot slack.  We've done it before and we can do it again.

In the video you can't see how much we're sweating from this warmup alone but trust me when I say these 10-15 minutes are RIDICULOUS.  The camera stopped recording at the very end but holy cow were we breathing or what!

This post is especially dedicated to you because I cannot emphasize how proud I am of you.  You are literally half the size and twice the person I met 2.5 years ago.  You've come a long way and your confidence is contagious.  Beachbody has helped transform you mentally and physically and it surely shows.  Keep up the good work and prove to the world that it can be done, girlfriend!  You're such an inspiration and I thank you for pushing me everyday!  I love you!!

TUESDAY INSANITY -- DAY 2!

I successfully finished Les Mills Pump this past Saturday!  Talk about a great program!  Before & After pictures will be posted soon enough.  'Til then, follow me as I continue my fitness journey with Shaun T's Insanity.  Yes, this will be my second round of this program.  The first time gave me killer results in just 60 days so I'm determined to reach my fitness goals before Summit in June.  No excuses!!  LEGGO!

A taste of Insanity.

Sweat in my eyes. Sweat dripping from the chin.

If you're not sweating by the end of warmup then you're simply not pushing hard enough.  There's no such thing as plateauing with this workout, not even close.

Although I'm Buddhist, I understand that today is a very significant day for a number of people.  The symbolism that comes with Jesus and his resurrection is something I can respect and appreciate because it's moments like these we remember to be mindful and thankful for such great acts of sacrifice.

On that note, here is a great song that has simple yet powerful lyrics.

Baby Tati

Do you know why I love babies so much?  Because they can brighten up the darkest of days without even trying. 

They are messy little munchkins who drool and scream and spill everything on the floor, but they are clever and pure and their mere giggles can warm your heart.  I don't know about you but every time I see a baby laugh it makes me laugh, too!

This is my niece, Tatiana.  She is truly an angel and all I need is to visit her for a bit to bring me back to balance.
